Abstract
This paper maps the shifting subjectivities generated by Glass, a stop-motion animation that performs femininity through close examination and play with glass fragments smoothed by the movements of the sea and found among the sand, pebbles, bladderwrack, and briny debris on the strandline of an urban beach. In my presentation, I explore modalities of écriture féminine/parler femme through making (and) writing 'as (a) woman' artist film-maker.
